The Langley Hospice Society

The Langley Hospice Society (www.langleyhospice.com), has been supporting the community of Langley for more than 30 years and is committed to providing emotional, practical and social support for the people who are living with terminal illness, and their family and friends, throughout the last stage of illness, at the time of death and bereavement.  At present, the Langley Hospice Residence is housed in a ten-bed interim residence on the grounds of the Langley Memorial Hospital, operated by Fraser Health and supported by the Langley Hospice Society.  With the growing population in the Langleys, and an estimated population increase of 29% by 2020, it is clear there will be an increased need for the type of services they provide, long term plans include a new hospice residence that will ensure continued access to palliative care and support for the community the serve.

The Clement Family and many others have been touched by the experience and support the Langley Hospice Society has provided for them.  For Roy Clements and his support team, it is a dream that no one walks alone and through Clemo’s Crusade for Hospice,  they hope to provide important awareness and funding for Langley Hospice Society operations and expansion plans. We know that by sharing our story and the story of Langley Hospice Society that we can increase the profile of this important organization to help them to continue to provide the best support to help people live with dignity and hope, while coping with grief and end of life.
